A tool. The tax return is yours.

deklareracrypto.se helps you prepare figures for bilaga K4, the appendix to the Swedish income tax return where sales of securities and other assets are reported, from your crypto transactions. This is what applies when you use the service.

What the service is

The service is a tool. It reads your transactions, calculates their value in Swedish kronor at the time of each transaction, applies the calculation rules published by the Swedish Tax Agency and shows how each amount was calculated. The result is a set of figures that you check yourself and transfer to your tax return.

What the service does not do

It does not give tax advice

The service takes no position on individual cases. How your transactions are taxed is determined by Skatteverket's rules and your own circumstances. If you are unsure, read Skatteverket's own guidance or contact Skatteverket.

It does not submit anything to Skatteverket

The service does not file any information with Skatteverket on your behalf. You submit your own tax return, and you decide which figures to transfer from the calculation.

It is not reviewed or approved by Skatteverket

The service has no connection to Skatteverket. The calculations are based on Skatteverket's published rules and guidance, with references to the source, but Skatteverket has not reviewed or approved the service.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your tax return is correct and that the information you provide to Skatteverket is accurate and complete. Check the figures before you use them. They may contain errors, for example if the export from your exchange is incomplete or if a transaction has been interpreted incorrectly.
